I'm a first-generation Chinese-American Floridian living in Chicago, with extensive experience in financial services and the food industry. My past life has led me to pursue UX and graduate from Designation, which allowed me to take my customer empathy and alleviate negative experiences through technology.
I grew up working at my family’s restaurant after school for 10 years and spent almost eight years managing an Asian grocery store. So, I’m a big foodie and love exploring new restaurants and grocery stores on the weekends. On the other days, I spend my time taking long walks with my dog, Max, (yes, I am that human that says “hi buddy!” to all the passing dogs) playing Pokemon Go, and working out!
